MetaSeal Golf coordinates custom golf ball logo printing, ball numbering, alignment line options, and retail packaging for OEM buyers. Customization is available for 3-piece and 4-piece urethane constructions. All customization options are subject to artwork review, model confirmation, quantity requirements, and production approval before they are confirmed for a specific project.
This page covers the customization options available for review, the artwork requirements, the packaging formats, the approval process, and the boundaries that apply to every custom golf ball project.
Logo printing is available on the ball surface. The standard position is the side stamp area, but other positions may be reviewed depending on the selected model and production method. Logo files should be provided in vector format (AI, EPS, or SVG) for print review. Raster files may be accepted depending on resolution and print method, but vector is the standard for golf ball logo printing.
Print color accuracy depends on the selected ink system and ball surface. Pantone references can be provided as a target, but exact color matching is not guaranteed without a confirmed sample review. Metallic, gradient, and multi-color logos require separate review before confirmation. See Logo Printing FAQ for detailed guidance on artwork preparation.
Standard ball numbers (0–9 or custom ranges) and alignment lines can be reviewed for most models. Alignment line options include single line, double line, and branded alignment marks. The available options depend on the selected model and production method. Custom number ranges and branded alignment marks require artwork review and production confirmation before they are added to a project scope. See Ball Number and Alignment Line Options for a detailed guide.
White is the standard ball color for both 3-piece and 4-piece urethane programs. Non-standard colors such as yellow, orange, or matte finishes may be available for review depending on the selected model and order quantity. Non-standard colors require separate production confirmation and may affect MOQ, lead time, and sample requirements. Color availability is not guaranteed without a completed project review.
Retail packaging options available for review include the individual sleeve (3-ball), the standard dozen box (12-ball), and gift box formats for premium presentation. Each packaging format requires a separate artwork file, dieline review, and packaging sample confirmation before bulk production. Packaging artwork must be approved in writing before production begins. See Packaging FAQ and Sleeve and Dozen Box Packaging Guide.
The artwork approval process for a custom golf ball project typically includes the following steps: submission of vector logo files and packaging artwork; review of print position, color, and technical requirements; digital proof or physical sample for buyer approval; written approval from the buyer before production; and documentation of the approved reference for quality control during production. No bulk production should begin before the relevant artwork and sample approvals are documented. Changes to approved artwork after production has started may require additional review and may affect timing and cost.
The artwork approval record is the reference for quality inspection during production and for reorder batches. Buyers should retain a copy of all approved proofs and samples. See Logo Artwork Files Guide and Sample Process FAQ.
Physical sample evaluation is supported before bulk production. A custom sample allows the buyer to verify ball construction, logo print quality, color accuracy, packaging execution, and overall presentation. Sample availability, quantity, fees, shipping, and timing are confirmed after the project details are reviewed. Bulk production is planned after the relevant sample and artwork approvals are documented and agreed.
A sample is the most reliable way to confirm that the customization meets the intended specification before committing to a full production run. Buyers who skip sample evaluation accept the risk that the bulk production may not match their expectations. See Sample Order Process.
Custom golf ball logo printing, packaging, and artwork options are subject to production review and approval. MetaSeal Golf does not guarantee that every requested color, material, format, or print method is available for every model or quantity. Performance claims tied to customization options (such as claiming that a specific logo color improves visibility or that a packaging format improves performance) are not supported. Customization affects the visual presentation of the ball, not its construction or performance characteristics.
Custom golf ball MOQ can start from 2,000 pieces, subject to model, logo, packaging, variations, and order plan. The 2,000-piece starting point is a project-review threshold, not an unconditional promise for every configuration. Mixed logos, colors, or packaging formats may require separate MOQ review for each variation. See MOQ FAQ for detailed guidance.
Before requesting a customization review, buyers should prepare the following information: the intended ball construction such as 3-piece or 4-piece urethane; the estimated total quantity; the number of logo, color, and packaging variations; the target market and sales channel; and the planned purchasing window. Providing these details at the start of the review reduces repeated questions and helps the project team identify which customization options are practical for the proposed scope.
