Urethane Golf Ball OEM FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about ordering custom urethane golf balls from MetaSeal Golf — construction differences, MOQ, customization options, sample process, and quality inspection.

3-Piece vs 4-Piece Urethane: What's the Difference?

A 3-piece urethane ball has three layers: core, mantle, and urethane cover. A 4-piece urethane ball has four layers: inner core, outer core, mantle, and urethane cover. The 4-piece construction adds a layer of complexity intended to provide a more differentiated response across club types. For most private-label programs, we recommend starting with the 3-piece model. See our 3-Piece vs 4-Piece Urethane Golf Balls: OEM Buyer's Guide for a detailed comparison.

What Is the MOQ for Urethane Golf Balls?

MOQ for custom urethane golf balls is 2,000 pieces per model. This applies to both 3-piece and 4-piece urethane models. For orders combining both models, each model requires a separate MOQ of 2,000 pieces. See our Custom Golf Ball MOQ FAQ for detailed information.

Can I Order Samples Before Bulk Production?

Yes. We recommend starting with a sample order before committing to bulk production. Samples allow you to evaluate ball feel, logo print quality, and packaging construction. Sample lead time is typically 7–14 days from artwork approval. See our Sample Order page for details.

What Customization Is Available?

Full logo, ball-number, and alignment-line customization is available. Logo printing via pad printing (standard) or stamping (metallic finishes). Packaging options include standard sleeve (3-ball), dozen box (12-ball), and custom gift sets. All artwork is confirmed during the sample stage. See our Logo Printing FAQ and Packaging FAQ for details.
