MetaSeal Golf conducted a client-observed robot test using a swing robot and Foresight Sports GCQuad launch monitor at a verified golf ball production facility in Guangdong, China. Session date: June 28, 2026. Equipment: GCQuad (Foresight Sports). Conditions: driver only, approximately 115.3 mph club speed, 5 shots per ball. All 5 balls were tested in the same session under identical robot settings.
The test used a swing robot set to a consistent driver swing speed of approximately 115.3 mph. Each ball was tested for 5 shots. The GCQuad launch monitor recorded ball speed, carry distance, total distance, spin rate, launch angle, and smash factor for each shot. Results shown are averages across the 5 shots for each ball model. A visiting client was present throughout the test to observe the methodology and verify the results.
Five ball models were tested in the same session. SupurNEWLING TOUR-PU is MetaSeal's OEM model with a CPU (cast thermoset polyurethane) cover. Votaway Golf is a client reference ball with a TPU cover and the same rubber core construction. Titleist Pro V1, TaylorMade TP5X, and VICE Pro Plus were purchased from retail channels and tested as market benchmarks.
| Ball | Ball Speed (mph) | Launch Angle (°) | Spin Rate (rpm) | Carry (yds) | Total Dist (yds) | Smash Factor |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SupurNEWLING TOUR-PU (CPU cover) | 168.4 | 13.0 | 2,467 | 283.4 | 307.4 | 1.46 |
| Votaway Golf (TPU cover, same core) | 166.5 | 12.4 | 3,506 | 265.5 | 283.8 | 1.44 |
| Titleist Pro V1 (retail benchmark) | 167.5 | 12.4 | 2,678 | 279.3 | 299.4 | 1.45 |
| TaylorMade TP5X (retail benchmark) | 167.8 | 12.7 | 2,472 | 282.1 | 304.9 | 1.46 |
| VICE Pro Plus (retail benchmark) | 167.5 | 13.0 | 2,531 | 281.3 | 302.3 | 1.45 |
Robot test data provides a controlled comparison of ball performance under consistent conditions. It is useful for evaluating relative performance differences between ball models at a specific swing speed. It does not predict performance for every golfer or every swing speed. The Votaway Golf ball uses the same rubber core as the SupurNEWLING TOUR-PU but with a TPU cover instead of CPU; the distance difference in this test reflects the cover material difference under these specific conditions. The 4-piece SupurNEWLING TOUR-PU was tested in a separate session using the same GCQuad equipment. Driver only, approximately 110.1 mph club speed, 5 shots per ball. Reference balls (Callaway Chrome Tour, TaylorMade Tour Response, Titleist Pro V1x) were purchased from retail channels and tested in the same session.
| Ball | Club Speed (mph) | Ball Speed (mph) | Efficiency | Total Dist (yds) | Spin (rpm) | Spin Axis Tilt (°) | Offline (ft) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SupurNEWLING TOUR-PU (CPU cover, 4-piece) | 110.1 | 157.3 | 1.43 | 283.7 | 2,780 | +2.7 | +20.5 |
| Callaway Chrome Tour (retail benchmark) | 110.1 | 154.9 | 1.41 | 277.1 | 2,815 | +3.7 | +21.9 |
| TaylorMade Tour Response (retail benchmark) | 110.0 | 156.7 | 1.43 | 277.7 | 3,006 | +0.7 | +13.6 |
| Titleist Pro V1x (retail benchmark) | 110.2 | 156.7 | 1.42 | 280.6 | 2,859 | +3.1 | +21.7 |
The 3-piece test data applies to the 3-piece urethane model only and must not be extended to the 4-piece model. The 4-piece test data applies to the 4-piece urethane model only. The retail benchmark balls are included for reference only; MetaSeal Golf makes no claim of equivalent formulation, process, or performance to any of these brands.

Buyers who want to evaluate ball performance before committing to a bulk order can review the full robot test data on this page and request a sample order for hands-on evaluation. The combination of robot test data and a physical sample provides the most complete picture of ball performance and quality before production commitment.
